When these sides met in round 11 only two goals were in it, with the Tigers coming out on top.
The Hawks will also need to ensure there is pressure on the passes coming into the circle, supporting their defenders if they are to get the victory.
Tatyoon’s goal attack Maggie Astbury has strong hands and is able to work herself under the post.
Woorndoo-Mortlake will need to put pressure on her drive into the circle and keep her away from the goal post to restrict her influence on the important match.
It will be interesting to watch centre players Jacqueline McDougall and Nicole Anderson battle it out in the midcourt.
Hawks’ McDougall is quick on her feet and moves the ball down the court with pace and precision whilst Anderson provides strong drive through the middle corridor for the Tigers and passes creatively into the goal circle.
Both players are determined and fierce at the ball so it will be great to see how this match up plays out.
As expected in a final, a close result is likely with goal efficiency likely to play a bit part in the final result.
The match is scheduled for 2pm at Caramut.
