All five teams gathered at North Park, Stawell to determine the final placings for the 2017 season.
The Grampians Giants, Wimmera Whippets and Hamilton Boomers played each other once, while the Ballarat Bulldogs and South Warrnambool Hurricanes fought it out in the grand final.
The Whippets won both its games, while the Giants claimed its first victory for the season with a 1.1.7 to 1.0.6 win over Hamilton.
Mat Taylor was best on ground for the Giants, kicking their two goals for the day.
Giants assistant coach Mick Davis said a team effort was what got them across the line.
“It was a really even team performance,” he said.
Davis said the FIDA competition has developed significantly this year.
“What has been exciting is the support we have received from existing mainstream clubs,” he said.
“Our group has a lot of players who are passionate about their footy and they want to come back and give it a go again next year.”
Ballarat easily accounted for the Hurricanes to be crowned FIDA western conference champions, winning the grand final 14.11.95 to 1.4.10.
Five teams also competed in a netball round robin on the day, with Mount Gambier Black defeating Ballarat in the grand final 7-5. All teams that competed won a match.
