The Hawks have got themselves into third spot, making for a competitive match.
The Demons have moved back to the top of the ladder with only one loss to its name.
Hawks coach Adrian Pilgrim said it will be a tough game.
“We have known we had a tough block coming up, so the last few games have been pretty important for us,” he said.
“It is another chance to measure up against one of the better teams in the competition.
“We will go through the same planning and processes we do every week, nothing really changes despite finals getting close.”
Pilgrim said the team knows Lismore-Derrinallum have a good balanced team and will need to be at their best to win.
“They have a really healthy balance of winning the contested ball with some strong bodies around the contest as well as having some nippy players who can run and carry when it gets to the outside,” he said.
The playing coach said he does not think the result will play any part in a potential finals battle.
“We know a lot can change in a couple of weeks, so I do not read too much into the result ahead of finals,” he said. First bounce at 2.15pm.
