While the Pumas might be out of the running for the finals, they are still a tough side to play when playing at their best.
The Rams will need to make sure they are ready from the first whistle if they are to ensure a win this week.
Glenthompson-Dunkeld are currently sitting fourth and with the bye against Great Western next round, has cemented their place in the finals series for 2017.
Despite that, the visiting team will be looking to head into the first round of finals with some momentum, so will want to be on top of this match from the first whistle.
Reegan Brunt has been solid in defence for the Rams, reading the play well and constantly applying pressure on the opposition.
She will need to be on her game in the circle as Pumas goalie Chloe Dunmore has been in great form in recent weeks.
Dunmore is strong at the ball and earns her possessions with grit and passion.
While these two players may not line up against one another directly, it will be interesting to see how the dynamics play out in the goal circle.
At the other end of the court, Sarah Alderman has been wonderful in goals for the Rams.
She not only provides leadership in the attack but also keeps a steadying presence down the court and in the ring.
With the Pumas’ best netball, the home team could get the points but the Rams will go into the match as favourites. The match will start at 1pm.
