HORSHAM’S Ss Michael and John’s Primary School students went to school dressed as their favourite athletes on Friday to raise money for two of their classmates.

The day raised money for cross-country runner Daisy Sudholz and netballer Grace Manserra.

Daisy will compete in a national cross-country competition in Hobart while Grace will represent Victoria in netball at the Pacific School Games.

Student Greta Arnel dressed up as a female footballer. “I wanted to dress up as a footballer because I like football and go for Carlton,” she said. She said it was fun to dress up for the day.

Student Bailey Eder was dressed as Essendon Football Club captain Dyson Heppell because he had dreadlocks.
