Country Fire Authority District 16 duty officer Neville Collins said two appliances were called to the service station at 9.52pm.
“It looks like the truck jackknifed while entering the service station,” he said.
“It started spilling fuel but not a massive amount. It was not a fuel tanker.
“The driver suffered minor head injuries.”
The Western Highway’s west-bound lane was closed for about an hour, according to a report from Country Fire Authority volunteers.
The incident did not involve damage to the building or infrastructure at the service station.
The incident was declared safe at 11.39pm.
