Joanne Read had a great game in the goal circle for the Bulldogs.
With her teammate Peta Byrne a prime target in the ring, Read spends a lot of time working the ball through the centre and goal thirds into the circle.
Read works well with her teammate, knowing that if she can’t finish off, Byrne can.
The Bulldogs started with a 16-9 goal lead at the first break.
Linda Coutts on the other hand made sure her opponent had to work hard for her possessions.
She also provided an option down the court, guiding the ball out of defence for the Bulldogs. SMW Rovers led 33 goals to 16 at halftime.
She was able to provide support and drive through the middle for Caramut as well as pass accurately into the goal circle as the Bulldogs led 53 goals to 25 at the final break before extending it to 72-35 at the final whistle.
