He said the side was disappointed with how it played against Taylors Lakes last round.
“We had a good talk about the loss at training on Tuesday night and addressed some areas that need to improve,” he said.
“I’m still positive we can get a couple of wins on the board over the coming few weeks.”
Captain Todd O’Connor will need to lead the way for his side by setting a strong example with his intensity early in the game.
Beddison said his side would not be focused on shutting down any particular Saints’ players.
“I think we will need an even spread of contributions from our guys and I imagine that is what Michael Rowe will be telling his team as well,” he said. “It will be about playing a strong brand of one-on-one football and holding onto the ball as much as possible. It’s all up to us and what we produce.”
Edenhope-Apsley are sitting seventh on the ladder after eight rounds. Natimuk United are above them by percentage alone.
Pimpinio are at the bottom of the ladder and still looking for a first win.
