The Rats got off to a strong start with a 17-goal opening quarter to take a nine-goal advantage into the second term.
The visitors were able to continue the scoring in the second quarter while restricting the home team to just 11 goals to extend the Rats lead to 12 at half time.
In the third term, Ararat upped the ante and nearly repeated their first quarter efforts, netting 16 goals to ensure the Tigers were unlikely to catch the visitors on the scoreboard.
A 47-27 scoreboard at the final break turned into a full time score of 60-36 win for the Rats.
The win moves Ararat into fifth position, ahead of Horsham Saints and Nhill on percentage.
Megan Shea finished with 33 goals while Tayla Borelli scored 27 in an even performance. The pair were best on court along with Lauren Armstrong.
