Moyston hosts an annual event with Buangor joining the calendar to give the Grampians region an extra event on the Victorian Yard Utility Farm Dog Association calendar.
More than 60 dogs have entered the event with registrations now closed but opportunities for local dogs to compete are still available but will need to register their interest prior to the day and will not be eligible for prize money.
The event will be hosted at the Buangor Community Sports Centre and will start at 8am.
Centre treasurer Geoff Thomas said there would be food available for people to purchase.
“Breakfast and lunch will be available with entry open to the public to go and watch the dogs be put through their paces,” he said.
The event is expected to last into the afternoon with an open bar also available.
Mr Thomas said people can contact James Ridgway on 0428815228 for more information.
