Names being considered for the new roads are the family names of historical land holders.
The surnames of Mr Driver who held land west of Beaufort in 1881 and Mr P and J Caulfield, who held land west of Beaufort in 1894 and 1906 respectively, are being considered for the new road names.
Residents and descendants of the figures whose names the new roads might be named after have until Monday, June 5 to discuss or submit anything related to the naming.
For more information about the location of the roads, visit http://www.pyrenees.vic.gov.au/Home.
