The Eagles got on the winners list in round four when they defeated Caramut and the round five match against eighth-placed Hawkesdale-Macarthur will give them a chance to win consecutive matches for the first time in more than four years.
The match will be played in Macarthur, with the home team one of the preseason fancies for the senior premiership but have struggled in the early rounds to gel as a team and play high quality football.
The Eagles have shown they can match it with the better teams for short periods, but the test will be to sustain the effort for longer periods of matches.
The visitors managed 19 goals in the previous match and showed they are capable of kicking big scores if they get their game going across the football ground.
The Eagles could move up as high as seventh position on the ladder should they win again on Saturday.
