Backed by The City of Ballarat, Pyrenees Shire Council, Cultivate Agribusiness Central Highlands and a grower’s consortium, the results of a $60,000 feasibility study and business case will determine whether $3 million might be spent on the construction of a straw pellet plant in regional Victoria.
“This study is a great example of the collaboration between industry, government and local communities for the economic growth of the Central Highlands region and all of regional Victoria,” Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Victoria Danielle Green said.
