An award is handed out each week to an under-17 player who exhibits great sportsmanship on the football field or netball court.
An overall winner is named at the end of the season.
Ebony debuted with Natimuk United in 2017 after beginning her netball career with Border Districts in the KNTFL.
Ebony is a versatile player and easily moves from shooting goals to defence.
Her height and stature make rebounding loose balls a breeze and her presence on court is unmissable as she launches herself at every ball.
Like the majority of her teammates, Ebony is still eligible to play under-15s and under but had the skills and determination to play in a higher grade.
Ebony has made her mark in the Horsham District league, earning selection for the 2017 15-and-under interleague squad.
William started his football career in the Auskick program with Kalkee.
With a total of 110 junior games, William has progressed through the under-14s and is now top age in the under-17s.
William plays mainly down back where he uses his height and dogged determination to his team’s advantage.
Due to his leadership qualities he has been voted as the captain of the under-17s team by his teammates for this season.
He also plays reserves.
