The Baggies started slow with Laharum getting the jump on the home team to open up a 12-4 advantage at quarter time.
The second term played out in a similar fashion with Swifts’ defenders struggling to curb the shooting chances of the visiting goal shooting duo.
Alexandra Hall built on her first term to sink five goals in the second for Swifts but her efforts did not counteract Laharum’s efforts at the other end with 15 goals added to the visitors tally to leave Swifts trailing 9-27 at half time.
The second half started with an onslaught with Swifts unable to cause turnovers to score, as Laharum extended its lead to 28 at the final break.
Swifts were unable to bridge the gap and were defeated 55-17.
Laura Farmer and Tara-Sky Long were named the Baggies’ best while Jade Cleary led the way with nine goals.
