A close loss to reigning premiers Woorndoo-Mortlake in the first round should provide the Pumas with confidence that they can compete with the top teams.
Moyston-Willaura’s Georgie Eastick played quality netball through the midcourt, with accurate passing into the ring.
The Pumas will be hoping that Eastick can repeat the performance against the Eagles.
Both Puma Zanetta Hosking and Eagle Jordan Leggett had great games last week and will be looking to quell the influence of each other if their respective team is to take home the win.
Both Hosking and Leggett are important through the midcourt as they can open up the court for their teams, so they will both be looking to play tight on each other to stop this flow.
Alana Jenkins stepped up in the latter half of the game for Ararat Eagles last round so will be hoping to continue with that form from the beginning of the game this time.
Her height is a great asset; of which the Pumas will need to work hard to keep her from holding under the ring.
