The revamp comes under an almost $9000 state government grant, in the first round of the Regional Health Infrastructure fund announced this week.

Funding will help to remove carpet from clinical areas and passageways and installing the non-slip vinyl replacement.

Western Victoria MP Jaala Pulford said the fund helped refresh rural and regional health services so more patients could be treated closer to home.
