WIMMERA house claimed victory in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Primary School’s athletics carnival on Tuesday.

The house finished in first place on 1553, just 15 points clear of Mallee.
Lowan were further back in third place on 1440 points.
Principal Daniel Weller said the day went brilliantly.
“It was perfect weather for the carnival,” he said. “We were very lucky because it was much better than what we had for the senior carnival on Monday.”
Joel Freijah and Britney Wright were the champion 12-year-old boy and girl respectively.
The 11-year-old champion boy was Jackson Hoffman, while Sophie McLellan was champions girl.
Cadi Streeter was the champion 10-year-old girl and Dezi Carter was champion 10-year-old boy.
Mr Weller said while the school and its students strive for excellence it was great to see good sportsmanship on display.
“It was just great to see the students competing,” he said.
