An auction will cap off fundraising efforts for EGHS’s Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay teams, which are riding for a new bus for the Patricia Hinchey Centre.
The bus will be used to transport aged and disabled clients to activities and outings across the region.
Items up for bidding will include beds, office furniture, chairs, shelving, mobility aids, patient lifting machines, doors and filing cabinets.
The public is also welcome to donate goods to be auctioned on the day.
Cyclists are set to cover 520 kilometres, from Swan Hill to Port Fairy, this weekend.
EGHS community liaison officer Jodie Holwell, who is also the relay teams’ manager, said teams were hoping to have as many people as possible turn out to support their efforts in what will be their final fundraising venture for this campaign.
The auction will take place in the gardens behind Pyrenees House on April 8, with registrations from 8am. Real estate agent Phil Clark (First National Ararat) will be guest auctioneer.
Anyone wishing to donate good for the auction can phone Stuart Kerr on 5352 9355 to arrange delivery.
