In the end it was Carter coming out on top to win the house competition.
The house notched 2485 points to win the day by more than 100.
McPherson finished runner-up on 2378 points, Darlot was third on 2315 points and Baillie finished on 2215 points in fourth place.
After a five week program training in the events students put what they had learnt into practice.
Tuesday was an opportunity for students in prep and through to year two to compete at Dudley Cornell.
Senior students in years three to six took part in events on Wednesday.
Physical education coordinator Gary Davidson said it is a great starting point to see where the students are at.
“From this carnival we pick out the students who will go on to compete in the inter-school carnival,” he said.
“Other that that it is great to see the everyone out there competing and enjoying themselves while competing for their houses.”
The inter-school athletics carnival is in early May.
