Simon Hopper led the way by securing the Cec Hopper medals by the narrowest margin.
He finished a single point ahead of Horsham Saints all rounder Matt Combe to secure his second medal. During the season Simon scored 669 regular season runs at 55.75 as well as taking 21 wickets at 12.95.
Combe edged out Blackheath-Dimboola’s Lachie Watts by five votes to win the man of the match award.
The pair shared the honour of being voted the Mail-Times best opposition player with 26 votes each.
The batting average award was won but Ben Peucker after he he scored 231 in four matches including an unbeaten 130 against Blackheath-Dimboola.
He was dismissed twice to secure an average of 115.5.
The batting aggregate was won by Simon.
Simon’s brother Chris claimed the honour for best bowling average.
During the regular season he claimed 20 wickets in 66.4 overs at an average of 8. His best figures of 4-1 came against Jung Tigers in round 13.
Jung’s David Puls was the leading wicket taker as he claimed 29 wickets in 13 matches after bowling 115.2 overs.
His average of 11.3 impressed given his bowling workload. His best figures of 4-23 came against Homers in round 10.
