The top of the ladder clash will guarantee Mininera wins the minor premiership if it gets the points on the road with the visitors already having a two point buffer with one round to play after Saturday’s match.
It will be Mininera’s final match before finals, as it is scheduled for a bye in the final round of the competition.
The grand final spots are already locked in, so the result will simply decide the final placings ahead of finals which will be played on March 25.
The top two teams will face off in the grand final while the remaining three teams will play a social game.
Skipton could move into second position if it defeats Tatyoon at home.
The third-placed team is two points adrift of Yalla-Y-Poora but a loss could leapfrog Skipton into the top two.
Tatyoon is out of the running for finals along with Willaura, which is set to hold onto fourth spot with a bye on Saturday.
Warm temperatures are expected which will test the fitness of players with finals just around the corner.
The round 14 matches could decide the grand finalists or it could stretch to the final round before its known who will play off for the senior title which means every team has something to play for at the weekend.
