Event volunteer Ashleigh Dark said the festival was a huge success and received similar feedback from festival-goers.
“We have had some really great feedback from festival-goers who said it exceeded their expectations and they loved all of the artists even if they were not familiar with them,” she said.
“All of the artists had a great time and were in awe of the amazing views.”
Ms Dark said as a first time festival there would always be room for improvement.
“We will be asking festival-goers for their feedback very soon to see what we can improve on, as well as continue to do with next years festival,” she said.
Northern Grampians Shire Councillor Jason Hosemans said the perfect weather completed a successful weekend.
“The festival went off really well, it was perfect weather and the location turned out to be even better than we originally thought,” he said.
“The Grampians mountain ranges were in full view all around you, it was like you were right in the middle of this stunning national park.
“The music was great, the sound quality was terrific and the artists all performed exceptionally.”
Cr Hosemans said it was a solid foundation to build upon for future festivals.
“Our numbers were down a little, but we knew heading into it that it was going to be a building process, but we only hope to go bigger and better from here,” he said.
“We will be doing a tally later this week, but we had around 6-700 on the Saturday which was the main day.
“So far the plans are still in place to host it again next year.
“There are small logistical things we will be trying to improve on for next year, but everyone should be proud of their efforts, it was a long process but we got there in the end.”
