Mininera has extended its lead after it defeated Skipton by 22 games in the round 13 match of the Mininera and District Tennis Association on Saturday.

The visitors got off to a good start when the Mininera ladies doubles restricted Skipton to just seven games in the first two sets.
The home team was unable to reverse the momentum as Mininera claimed the honours 32 games to 12 in the ladies section.
The Skipton men’s put up a bit more of a fight and managed to won of the four sets but again it was Mininera who finished on top in the section to ensure it would finish the match as winners.
The mixed doubles was a more even contest with Skipton winning three of the four sets but fell short in the overall scores.
In the other match Tatyoon collected the four points after it defeated Willaura.
The win closed the gap between the two teams to just four points.
