Aaron Chaplin was one of the standouts when he won the under-11 boys javelin event while claiming second in the shot put and discus.
Chelsey Turpin was kept busy after she competed in nine under-nine events with her best result being second in the long jump.
The club is still waiting on confirmation that Chaplin and Keelan Perry will progress to the Victorian Athletic Championships.
If successful, the pair will compete at Melbourne’s Lakeside Stadium in March.
It comes off the back of a strong performance from 11 athletes who attended the Maryborough Open Day meet on February 12
The competition was open to all junior athletes from around Victoria to compete in
Isabella Leggett, Harrison Grant and Keelan Perry all finished with wins while three others claimed second or third in their events.
