Harricks received the award after he claimed nine wickets in the second innings of the A Grade match against Halls Gap in round nine to finish with figures of 9-44.
The award is given to the best performed cricketer in Victoria each week and Harricks said it was a shock to win it.
“It is a pretty awesome thing to win,” he said.
“It was pretty surprising to win it, there is a large amount of cricket happening in Victoria, so to get acknowledged was a nice feeling.”
The medium pacer grabbed the haul from just 16.5 overs.
Tatyoon Cricket Club secretary Darren Beer said it was a well deserved honour.
“It has been a tough year for our club, so it is great to see him being recognised in this way,” he said.
Harricks said it he was glad his performance brought attention to the association with the award.
