Police executed a search warrant at Fechler Avenue, Horsham based on suspicion that cannabis was being cultivated.
Horsham Senior Sergeant David Ellis said a 32-year-old female, the occupier of the premises, was arrested.
“Police recovered one cannabis plant and a small quantity of dried cannabis,” he said.
“The female was arrested and conveyed to Horsham Police Station before being interviewed and bailed to appear in Horsham Magistrates Court on March 15.
“She has been charged with two counts, one of cultivating cannabis and one of possession.”
In a separate incident on Friday, a South Australian driver was arrested for drug possession.
“At about 5.30am, Horsham Police intercepted a 30-year-old man driving towards Melbourne on the Western Highway at Dahlen,” Senior Sergeant Ellis said.
“The vehicle was searched and police discovered a small quantity of crystal methamphetamine, also known as ice.”
“The driver was given a drug diversion, so he will not be going to court.”
