A signed Adelaide 36ers singlet and a Draggin Jeans pack will be auctioned at the event.
Committee member Tami Lane organised the singlet through basketballer and former Horsham man Mitch Creek.
She said the money raised through the auction would go towards Relay For Life, a Cancer Council initiative.
“Everyone’s looking for a cure,” she said.
“If we put in a little bit of time and effort, who knows what could happen.”
Horsham Agricultural Society secretary Andrea Cross offered to host the auction to support the relay committee.
“There’s an amazing number of volunteers who give their time so freely around the world, but in Horsham particularly,” she said.
“Whenever you see two community groups working together, it’s positive and it gives positive messages to the community.
“If we fight together, there’s strength in numbers.”
Society volunteer Dustin Cross will run the auction.
Mrs Cross said the free 140th event was at Horsham Showground from 5.30pm on Friday.
She said people could collect wristbands that entitled them to free pizza at the event by calling her on 0400 425 254.
Those who miss out on wristbands can still join in the auction and enjoy performers Kailee O’Beirne and Acousticus Stomp.
There will also be agricultural equipment displays.
The society’s Bob Wirth will celebrate 40 years of involvement with a cake at the event.
