The free workshops are designed to help farmers provide suitable stock nutrition with information on hay quality, the risks associated with feeding hay to stock and ration development for stock in containment areas among other topics.
Among the speakers will be veterinarian Dr Catherine Fuller, Agriculture Victoria grains pathology project officer Luise Sigel and animal nutritionist at Coprice Shamyl Das.
The workshops locations and dates are:
- Laharum – Tuesday, February 21, Laharum Hall.
- Joel Joel – Monday, February 27, Joel Joel Hall.
- Natimuk – Tuesday, February 28, Natimuk Recreation Reserve.
- Lawloit - Wednesday, March 1, Lawloit Hall.
- All workshops run from 9am to 3pm.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all workshop participants.
