The first day of the Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly’s summer holiday program saw 21 players take part in the hour-long session.
Players of different ages were watched over by Horsham Squash Club’s Launa Schilling and coach June Liddy.
Program organiser Matthew Friedlieb said the first day of the program went well.
“We were making full use of all the courts down at the squash club,” he said.
“The registration for the remaining three days is also strong.
“We have at least 20 participants for each day so far.”
Registration for Wednesday’s badminton program are still open and can be competed on the sports assembly website.
There is also space available for the volleyball and basketball programs on Thursday. Friday’s ten-pin bowling is full.
“Just a big thank you to all the sporting clubs involved,” Friedleib said.
