Central Park sat in second spot having lost on just two occasions heading into the fixture played on their home court but could did not manage to win a set against St Michael’s.
The end scoreline showed St Michael’s winning 14-126 to 0-63.

Cherie Wood and Barbara Crough winning for Lawn while Dylan Emmerson and Lachie King outplayed their opposition to see the scores locked at 2-26 a piece after four ties.
It was not until King and Ben Argent, then Alex Barnes and Andrea Cameron won the final two doubles rubbers for Drung South that the team could claim victory.
Kalkee managed a third win of the season in its tie against Horsham Lawn Savage to complete round nine.
The side won 10-104 to 4-86 at Horsham Lawn Tennis Club.
Lawn were on the back foot all day after winning only one of the four singles ties and could not recover despite continued good play by Tanya Sudholz.
Brimpaen was one game clear on top of the A Special ladder after defeating Haven 12-119 to 2-63.
Natimuk’s 8-88 to 6-83 victory over Telangatuk East was decided in the last rubber of the day.
A 9-3 win by Natiumuk’s Courtney Price and Nikki Ervin over Fiona Jervis and Anna Potter saw the side over the line.

Boradjuha’s 8-899 to 4-74 defeat of Kalkee maintains its three win margin on top of A Grade.
Second-place Brimpaen defeated Haven 8-87 to 4-70.
Horsham Lawn defeated Quantong by 15 games after both side won six sets.
Drung South defeated second-placed Laharum 7-90 to 5-80 to open up a three win margin on top of B Special.
Horsham Lawn defeated Natimuk 11-104 to 1-52 and Haven Black outlasted Haven Green 11-101 to 1-43.
