Warracknabeal Secondary College’s Sam Cooper` Kaniva College student Sam Williams-Bale and Edenhope College’s Jesse Iesse all secured first place finishes. Cooper finished equal first in the under-14 high jump while Iesse managed first in the under-15 shot put.
Williams -Bale won gold in the boys under 16 discus.
St Brigid’s College student Tara Jasper placed second in the under-16 100-metre race and Nhill College’s Cassidy Jones claimed third place in the under-17 800-metre event.
Marian College’s Lauren McCarthy secured third place in the under-20 shot put.
St Arnaud Secondary College’s Nicholas Myers finished with two third places in the under-15 100-metre hurdles and the under-15 triple jump.
Nhill College’s Moe Moe Pa Koo claimed third place in the under-20 discus while Warracknabeal Secondary College’s Lachlan Stewart placed second in the under-14 javelin.
Murtoa College’s Cleo Baker, St Arnaud’s Ashlee Flanagan, Nhill’s Cassidy Jones, Kaniva College’s Hetti Munn and Marian College’s Alice Astbury all claimed fourth place finishes in their events. In the boys’, St Brigid’s College student Bailey McQueen also took home a fourth.
