The gymnastics competition will kick off at 9am and will see about 80 gymnasts compete from clubs including Stawell, Warrnambool and Ararat.
The competition will be centred around women's artistic events, including the vault, floor, bars and beam, with competitors between five to 18 years old taking part.
The last time an event like this was held was about 12 months ago.
Ararat and District Gymnastics Club coach Briana Hopper-Britton said the Ararat and District Gymnastics Club had about 45 girls competing this weekend.
"All the kids have been training really well and this competition will just be a good opportunity to show their parents and family the routines they have been working on," she said.
Ms Hopper-Britton said she hoped that the competition would become an annual event and attract even more clubs next year.
The public is invited to come down and support the local gymnasts competing in the event.
