Completed upgrades to the campground were undertaken by Parks Victoria and finished in time for school holidays.
Parks Victoria manager of regional operations Claire Evans said public accessibility was a priority when upgrading the site.
“Staplyton is the only campground in the northern section of the Grampians National Park, which supports high quality and diverse flora and fauna as well as unique cultural experiences,” she said.
“Accessible sites, picnic tables and toilets are a really important design feature, so more visitors feel welcome.”
