It comes as police investigate a series of four car thefts that occurred between Sunday night and Monday morning.
Marc Munday’s Nissan Nivara 4X4 was stolen from Horsham less than than a week earlier.
Mr Munday woke last Wednesday to find his car stolen from his Matthews Court, Horsham, address.
He said the car was found in appalling condition and would likely be beyond repair.
“It was stolen at 2am,” he said.
“I woke up the next morning to go pick the children up and it was gone.
“Police located it near Horsham College at 9am the same day.”
Mr Munday said police did an amazing job and he believes they have caught the person responsible, but it was still low act by the perpetrators.
“It’s very disappointing,” he said.
“It looked like they’d taken it four wheel driving.
“I’d done a lot of work to the car and only had it a month and it’d been crashed. It’s probably a write off.”
“You work hard for your possessions and to have people completely disrespect that, it’s disappointing.”
