The former Ararat Rats player was named on the wing for Footscray in the game at Etihad Stadium.
Dalgleish finished the game with 16 disposals.
The tally included 13 kicks and 3 handballs.
He also laid three tackles against Casey, which is affiliated with AFL club the Melbourne Demons.
Dalgleish played 19 games during the 2016 season.
The premiership was his first at senior level.
Footscray finished the home and away season in fourth position.
The Bulldogs lost to Casey in the qualifying final by 70 points.
The loss forced them into a sudden death semi-final against Essendon which they won.
The Western Bulldogs’ affiliated team then matched up against Collingwood in the preliminary final where they won by 119 points to earn its spot in the state league decider.
