A new website launched by the Andrews Labor government this week gives rural and regional Victorians the chance to share ideas about local opportunities and challenges across every government portfolio.
Each of the nine regional partnerships across the state will host an assembly, where community members, ministers, Members of Parliament and local government will come together to discuss priorities for each region.
Wimmera and southern Mallee community members can register via the website engage.regions.vic.gov.au
“This will be a great opportunity for people in the Wimmera and Southern Mallee to shape the future of our local communities,” partnership chair David Jochinke said.
Online feedback will inform discussions at the assembly. The Wimmera Southern Mallee Regional Partnership includes the shires of Hindmarsh, Northern Grampians, West Wimmera, Yarriambiack and Horsham Rural City.
