Storm coach Krystal Cameron said the team was focused more on what it could control during the game.
"We are trying not to concentrate much on the opposition,” she said.
“We need to focus on what we want to do more so during the game.
"The midfield is the key for us.
“It is something we pride ourselves on along with good ball movement.
The Storm had semi-final weekend off after defeating Redan in the qualifying final.
The girls enjoyed a lighter week on the training track the past week, but Cameron said the intensity would lift back up leading into the game.
"We will be doing a lot more intensive stuff at training this week,” she said.
"Skills stuff and match simulation will be a part of that.
"Having a rest for their legs will mean they are a bit fresher and move lively for the game.
First bounce is at 12.05pm at North Ballarat Oval
