The Rats have not been beaten by the Saints in 2016 after they defeated them by 33 points in round five.
They travelled to Horsham in round 12 and won by five points.
Coach Allen Slocombe said it was a bonus the game would be at their home ground.
"We are reasonably confident,” he said.
"There is no doubt the bigger ground will help us.
"But the important thing for us is to get back to what we have been doing well earlier in the season.”
The team lost to Horsham Demons in the semi-final but Slocombe said the errors should be easy to fix.
“After reviewing last week it is only simple things we need to tidy up,” he said.
“Did not work hard enough last week.”
The Rats are expecting a few new faces to return for the Saints in the final.
Slocombe said the team must be ready for a different game to the previous two encounters.
“We need to be prepared for a tougher game,” he said.
“But rather than worrying about them we are just focused on what we can control and what we can do during the game.”
The winner will face Horsham Demons in the Wimmera Football League grand final at Horsham City Oval on September 3.
The preliminary final will start with the first bounce 10.45am.
The 15 and under B netball team will also be in preliminary final action when it faces Horsham on Saturday at Alexandra Oval’s netball courts.
The Rats side have a perfect record against Horsham in 2016.
In round five they won by 12 goals before increasing the winning margin to 15 in their round eight match.
The winner will play Stawell in the Wimmera Netball Association grand final the following week.
The 15 and under B preliminary final will start at 9.40am.
The Rats under-14 footballers will have the chance to qualify for the Wimmera Football League grand final when they take on Warrack Eagles at Alexandra Oval on Saturday morning.
The under-14 preliminary will start at 9.10am.
The winner will play the Horsham Saints in the grand final.
