They soon straightened up and piled on 16.4 for the remainder of the game with the defence unchallenged.

Wik made the most of the forward advances with a bag of eight majors.

Isabel Kettle and Alyssa Humphries added seven more between them.

Wik has been dominant with 14 goals from the past two games.

The Storm are now equal first on points but remain third due to their percentage.

They have 784.62 per cent compared to ladder leaders Redan’s 1589.06 per cent.

It leaves them needing some big wins to catch the top of the table side.

But it also shows they are well in in the hunt for a strong finish to the 2016 Ballarat league season.

The Storm can continue their winning form when they play Darley at Creswick on Sunday at 1:30pm.
