Father and son team Barry and Aaron Dunn train the majestic filly, which was once a very temperamental horse.
The filly is just three years old and boasts an outstanding record for such a young horse.
She has recorded six wins and four placings in 18 starts.
Barry Dunn said he had trained the horse from a young age.
“I broke her in and trained her myself,” he said.
“She was a bit of a hassle early on, bashing up karts, and she would kick out a lot.
“But I have a fair bit of confidence in her now that we have had the opportunity to train her fulltime.”
Dunn has trained more than 20 horses, winning more than $3-million in prize money.
“I’m getting old now and am passing it on to my son Aaron,” Dunn said.
“He is almost teaching me now.
“She has previously been slow out of the gates but as time goes on she gets faster.”
The race will feature some of the best Victorian horses currently racing.
“This will put her in the top 12 horses in Victoria if she can win this race,” Dunn said.
“She needs a great run.”
