GREENS candidate for Mallee Helen Healy caused a minor stir on Facebook this week after dropping in to Horsham for a ‘listening post’ on Sunday.

Holding court in ‘the Fox’ cafe, Ms Healy made a suggestion that some primary producers found a bit cheeky.
She suggested that the Wimmera’s diesel-dependent farmers could look at ways to reduce their fuel use.
Once farmers got in from working the land and got online, they left their own comments on the story.
“I hope she rides a bike when campaigning,” one person commented
“I haven't seen a solar powered tractor yet maybe they should make one,” said another.
Some other comments took a nastier tone, but that might be put down to long hours in the paddock.
Tesla might be turning the automotive world on its head with its lithium battery sports cars, but electric tractors and utes have yet to catch on.
