The Rats can secure their first back-to-back wins for 2016 after they defeated Nhill in round 10.
The match is a chance for the side to turn around its horror start to the season.
Rats coach David Hosking said his side is on the rise.
“Their form is a bit better than ours but we feel quite strong at the moment,” he said.
The Rats have been gaining important personnel in the past three weeks.
“Training was very positive on Tuesday,” Hosking said.
“We know this will be a very tough game but we expect it to be competitive.”
Hosking said his side is wary of the Warriors fast movement of the ball.
“We expect a better game than our first encounter,” he said.
“We rate this opposition very highly.”
The Rats were asked to not train on half of the oval on Tuesday due to the heavy rain and a drainage problem.
The last time these two sides met the Warriors dealt the Rats a 70-point flogging in round four.
Both sides have come a long way since their last match-up, with the Rats back in full swing after gaining players back from injury.
The Warriors, meanwhile, are sitting third on the table and showed their strength with an 87-point win against Horsham Demons in round 10.
Warriors coach Brad Thomas said he is happy his side is hitting form.
“This is going to be a huge match for us,” he said.
“We looked well in our game last week but so did Ararat.
“We will have to play our best football to overcome them,”
Thomas said that the Rats are strong when they get off to a good start.
“They don’t stop when they start off fast,” he said.
“We cannot let them get in front in the first quarter.”
Thomas said he wants his side to stay composed and not get over their own heads.
“Ararat beat Nhill, Nhill beat Saints and Saints beat Minyip-Murtoa, which shows if you have a quiet day and another side is having a good day anything can happen this year,” he said.
