Sherwell fired 76-6-70 to claim the spoils from Percy Dohnt 89-19-70.
Gary Sherwell was a winner on the money hole, while nearest pins went to Marcus Matthews and Gary Sherwell. Matthews and Sherwell were winners on the eighth and ninth holes.
Campbell Gibson edged out Mick Bextream to win Saturday’s stroke event. Gibson recorded 91-21-70 to defeat Mick Bextream 88-18-70.
Nearest the pins went to Gaye Collins on the third hole while Gary Jamieson scored on the eighth.
This Saturday is a stroke event, starting at 11.30 am.
Aradale Golf Club is hosting the Pyrenees Cup this Sunday. This will be played between Willaura, Elmhurst, Chalambar and Aradale Golf Clubs. The Cup will begin at 11.30 am with a shotgun.
Aradale Golf Club is looking for new members. Adult memberships are $150 and $50 for juniors. For current members, memberships are due now.
