Club president, Rod Peachey, said preparations were going well ahead of the event, held over Saturday and Sunday.
“It’s all coming together, and we’re hoping the weather helps us out,” Mr Peachey said.
The club has over 250 entries registered in this weekend’s Vic titles round.
Entrants are coming from Queensland, Western Australia and even New Zealand, to compete at the Ararat Motocross Track. The track is located along Warrak Road.
Practice rides begin at 9 am, with racing to commence shortly after. Entry into the track is free, and there will be a full canteen available for spectators. The final round of the Vic titles will be on June 11 at Mildura.
Ararat is also playing host to the final of the Western Region Motocross Series meetings in 2016. These will be held over the weekend of August 13 and 14.
