Hull, a 19-year-old plumbing apprentice is coached by multiple world champion and Olympic medallist Shane Kelly, who grew up in Ararat.
The youngster said he was looking forward to getting down to racing with his new team in the upcoming Tour of Southwest at Warrnambool midway through next month.
“I’m really keen and motivated for this season. I have a really good feeling about the team and am so glad to get an opportunity,” Caiden said.
Cycotix Racing team owner John Kingston said Hull had the potential to play an important role within the team.
“There is no doubt that we have riders that are skilfull and quick in a bunch finish, but Caiden adds the flexibility of a rider that can get over the hills and still be more than competitive in a sprint finish that some of our bigger boys may not make,” he said.
“He has the right attitude and comes from a fantastic cycling family which was one of the major factors in deciding to sign him for the 2016 season.”

Cycling legend Kelly was on hand to present Hull with his new Fuji Transonic 2.5 at Fuji dealer Bike FO in St Kilda.
“I have known Caiden since he was a baby and he comes from a well known family of cyclists from my home town of Ararat,” Kelly said.
“With some miles in his legs and a bit of maturity, I can certainly see him performing well as a sprinter or one-day specialist.
“I am really impressed with the Cycotix Racing program, which provides a pathway to the big time and incorporates both the track and the road, which I think is important.”
Caiden is a former Australian junior track championship medallist.
His elder brother Evan is a former national junior cyclist.
Evan competed at the under-19 junior track world championships in 2012.
Kelly, a sprint specialist, competed at five Olympic Games, winning one silver and two bronze medals.
Kelly was awarded the title of Australian Cyclist of the Year in 1996 and was the Australian Male Track Cyclist of the Year from 1996 to 1999.
Cycotix Racing Team will be competing in the Dedington Dash in Northern Tasmania this week as a warm up to the Tour of Southwest starting on May 14.
