Proceeds from the trash and treasure market will support the club through the purchase of new equipment, upkeep to grounds and trophies and prizes.
“It’s the only real income we have, along with the money we make through canteen sales,” club spokeswoman Melissa Perry said.
“We’re encouraging people to get along to the market to support our kids.”
Ararat Little Athletics Club increased its membership from 42 to 69 in 2016.
The club presentation night is on Thursday.
The Ararat trash and treasure market is on the second Sunday of the month at Alexandra Hall from 8.30am to 1pm.
Items for sale include bric a brac, plants, craft, jewellery, clothes and baked goods.
