The seminar starts at 4.30pm and includes information on the soil moisture probe network the group has implemented in the western Victorian region.
Craig Sharam, agronomist from Elders Bendigo, will speak about how farmers and advisers can interpret and use the results.
A panel session will be led by Charlie de Fegely made up of group members who visited New Zealand on a recent study tour.
The panel will discuss the farming systems seen in New Zealand and whether certain techniques can be implemented in western Victoria.
The discussion will also focus on the 2015 season and how lessons learned can help with difficult conditions in the future.
A complimentary barbecue will be provided before Dennis presents his talk on resilience.
