President Lee Albert said registration for U3A would open Monday, February 8 at 10am at the Melbourne Polytechnic training centre on Grano Street.
Toni Jordan is the author of four novels including the international best-seller Addition, which was a Richard and Judy Bookclub pick and was long-listed for the Miles Franklin award.
Fall Girl was published internationally and has been optioned for film while Nine Days was awarded best fiction at the 2012 lndie Awards and was shortlisted for the ABIA best general fiction award.
Ms Jordan’s latest novel is Our Tiny Useless Hearts.
New courses for U3A Ararat include making of the Bible, presented by Dr Tim Gaden, living in America with Cr Glenda McLean, zentangling, Turkish cooking and sculpture.
Continuing courses include woodwork, computers, water colour painting, craft, singing meditation, summer walks, Samba, bridge, solo and Scrabble.
