Up against a field of 22 hardy players, Hunt returned a score of 106-33-72 to take home the monthly spoils.
She did this in extremely windy, dusty and hot conditions.
Ellen Pollock finished on 88 to win the day’s A grade stroke contest while in B grade Gayle Dadswell edged out Nola Pugh on a countback. The pair were tied on 99.
Lyn Faneco claimed C grade spoils with her score of 101. Putting winner was Nola Pugh (31 putts).
Nearest pins went to Gayle Dadswell (second hole), Marg Peoples (sixth), Nola Pugh (eighth), Lyn Faneco (16th) and Judy Edwards (18th).
Sally Philip was in good form at the Saturday stableford competition. Philip won the day’s honours with 38 points with Alwyn Kitchen runner up on 33. Marg Lardner was nearest to the pin on the 16th hole.
There was no Monday stableford competition due to a vets’ event.
This Wednesday is a Christmas three-person ambrose, 9:30am start.
